Oen up settings by clicking the "Windows Key and I key" -Â
Click on Personalisation in the left hand column
Click on Themes in the right hand column
In the box that has now popped up (as per screen shot below), untick what you want to hide from your desktop then click 'Apply'. It is now safe to close these windows and return to you Desktop where your selection will now be hidden.
Click on Desktop Icon Settings in the right hand column
