Core Parking is a feature in Windows that dynamically selects a set of processors to remain idle and not execute any threads based on the current power policy and recent utilization. Its purpose is to minimize energy consumption, which in turn reduces heat and power usage.
While Core Parking can optimize energy consumption, it’s essential to weigh the pros and cons based on your specific needs.
Open your registry editor by pressing the windows key on your keyboard and typing 'regedit', and then pressing enter.
Click "yes" on the UAC dialogue box that pops up on the screen.
In the left hand panel navigate to; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings
Now press the 'control & f' keys together and in the search box that comes up search for the key "dec35c318583".
Double-click on "ValueMax" and change the string value to 0. Repeat to make sure there are no more enteries to change.
When complete you then need close the regedit windows and restart your computer. Once you computer has rebooted core parking should now be disabled.
